Mission
Build OWN's TradFi liquidity base for scaling onchain mortgages from proof-of-concept into repeatable mortgage funding channels.
This is not generic crypto BD. The core requirement is real TradFi liquidity formation: mortgage finance, real-estate debt, private credit, bank lending, family office capital, warehouse lines, forward-flow agreements, whole-loan sales, structured finance, or debt capital markets.
DeFi interest is useful, but secondary.
Core Responsibilities
- Build the TradFi liquidity strategy for scaling mortgage funding channels.
- Source and close funding relationships with private credit funds, family offices, banks, mortgage lenders, credit funds, wealth platforms, real-estate investors, and structured-finance desks.
- Structure liquidity channels such as forward-flow agreements, warehouse or credit facilities, SPV funding structures, participation agreements, note/private placement structures, whole-loan sale channels, and co-investment vehicles.
- Translate OWN's product into lender-ready materials: underwriting framework, collateral policy, loan tape format, portfolio reporting, servicing workflow, default/cure logic, and lender protections.
- Work with underwriting and engineering to automate capital-provider diligence: data rooms, loan tapes, credit memos, collateral monitoring, reporting dashboards, covenant reports, and portfolio performance packs.
- Build and manage the lender pipeline, CRM, outreach cadence, intro process, term-sheet workflow, and closing process.
- Help define commercial terms: advance rates, pricing, take rate, servicing economics, risk sharing, covenants, and reporting obligations.
- Work with legal/compliance on investor eligibility, distribution language, placement-agent risk, lending structure, and regulatory perimeter.
Must Have
- 7+ years in mortgage finance, real-estate debt, private credit, bank lending, structured finance, debt capital markets, real-estate investment banking, family office capital formation, or warehouse/forward-flow lending.
- Direct experience closing financing transactions or liquidity partnerships.
- Strong understanding of LTV, collateral, mortgage mechanics, credit facilities, loan tapes, covenants, lender diligence, and credit committee expectations.
- Existing relationships with TradFi capital providers.
- Ability to make a new mortgage product credible to conservative lenders.
Nice To Have
- DeFi, RWA, tokenization, stablecoin, crypto lending, or digital asset custody exposure.
- CEE real-estate finance or Czech mortgage-market experience.
- Swiss private capital, family office, or private-bank relationships.
- Experience with loan servicing, investor reporting, or portfolio monitoring.
Not Looking For
- Pure crypto BD without TradFi financing experience.
- Generic partnerships person without closed capital transactions.
- Real-estate broker without lender/capital-provider credibility.
- Analyst-only profile with no relationship ownership.
- Someone who can introduce investors but cannot structure the actual liquidity product.
90-Day Outcomes
- Map 50-100 relevant TradFi liquidity targets.
- Open 15-25 qualified conversations.
- Produce a lender-ready funding package.
- Identify the first 3-5 viable liquidity structures.
- Secure at least 1-2 serious term-sheet or pilot-funding discussions.
- Define repeatable reporting/diligence requirements with underwriting and dev.
Screening Questions
- What mortgage, real-estate debt, private credit, or structured-finance transactions have you personally closed?
- Which liquidity providers could you realistically approach in the first 30 days?
- Have you structured forward-flow, warehouse, SPV, whole-loan, participation, or note deals?
- What would a conservative lender need before funding OWN mortgages repeatedly?
- How would you package onchain collateral without making this look like a crypto trade?
- What reporting and monitoring would you require from the dev team?
Compensation
70,000-120,000 EUR base + equity/options + performance-based revenue participation on secured dealflow, subject to legal review.
